As per SP D Ajit Vajendla’s orders, 77 special teams conducted intensive inspections across hotels and lodges in the district. During this process, an unannounced inspection at a lodge within the Santapet area of the city led to the apprehension of six individuals, from whom 6 kilograms of ganja were seized, the police said. To curb crime and anti-social activities, inspections of lodges and hotels were conducted on an unannounced basis.
