Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure safe and smooth operations.

  • Use testing devices like multimeters, continuity testers, and voltage indicators.
  • Ensure minimum downtime and quick problem resolution.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow safety procedures while working with live wires and high-voltage systems.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with ISI standards and local regulations.
  • Maintain proper grounding, earthing, and overload protection.
  • Report hazards and ensure safe working conditions on-site.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain records of repairs, materials used, and service details.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, building owners, engineers, and contractors.
  • Provide suggestions for system upgrades or energy-efficient solutions.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and electrical materials inventory.

Qualifications Required

Education

  • ITI in Electrician Trade (preferred).
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (optional but advantageous).
  • Valid electrical license where required.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of practical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
  • Freshers with ITI skills are also eligible for entry-level roles.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and control systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and basic electrical blueprints.
  • Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protective equipment usage.
  • Physically fit; able to climb ladders and work in different environments.
  • Communication skills in Telugu, with basic English understanding.

Work Environment

  • Work locations include homes, apartments, offices, retail shops, factories, hospitals, and construction sites.
  • May involve shift work or emergency service hours.
  • Requires physical activity, field visits, and on-site work.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range: ₹12,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience).
