Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Learning
- Deliver subject lessons (Telugu, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc.) as per the prescribed syllabus and curriculum of Andhra Pradesh State Board or CBSE.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans with creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Conduct classroom assessments and evaluate student performance regularly.
- Student Development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support or remedial teaching where necessary.
- Encourage participation in cultural, academic, and sports activities to promote overall development.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate student records including attendance, grades, and progress reports.
- Participate in school meetings, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions.
- Assist in implementing government education programs and initiatives (e.g., Jagananna Amma Vodi, Midday Meal Scheme, Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu).
- Community Engagement
- Collaborate with local communities and parents to promote education awareness in rural and urban parts of Nellore district.
- Support literacy and educational outreach programs in the district.
Qualifications Required
- Educational:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject(s).
- Preferred: B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized university/institution.
- For Secondary & Higher Secondary: Postgraduate degree with B.Ed. preferred.
- Certifications:
- AP TET or CTET qualification as per government norms.
- Experience:
- Fresh graduates can apply (for government positions as per DSC notification).
- Experience in teaching or tutoring will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Telugu.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to integrate digital tools and smart classroom techniques.
- Classroom management and student mentoring skills.
Work Environment
Teachers may be placed in urban, rural, or coastal areas of Nellore District, including:
- Government schools under the Zilla Parishad or Mandal Parishad,
- Municipal schools in Nellore city, or
- Private / Aided institutions affiliated to AP State Board or CBSE.
