Retail outlets, supermarkets, wholesale units, and warehouses across Nellore District are looking for dynamic and responsible Store Managers to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure smooth inventory flow. Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations Management
- Supervise daily store activities including opening, closing, and shift management.
- Monitor stock levels, product displays, and cleanliness to maintain store standards.
- Ensure smooth billing, sales, and cash handling operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
- Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate records of stock received, stored, and sold.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prevent product losses through effective inventory management and security.
- Oversee the storage and arrangement of goods for easy accessibility.
- Staff Supervision & Training
- Recruit, train, and supervise sales associates, cashiers, and support staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.
- Motivate the team to achieve monthly sales and service goals.
- Handle staff scheduling and leave management efficiently.
- Customer Service & Sales
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Address customer queries, feedback, and complaints politely and promptly.
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Implement promotional activities and local marketing initiatives.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expense reports.
- Track store performance against targets and budgets.
- Report key insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and security within the store premises.
- Monitor cash handling, billing accuracy, and financial integrity.
Qualifications Required
- Educational:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Preferred: MBA in Retail / Marketing / Operations.
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in retail management, inventory handling, or supervisory roles preferred.
- Freshers with leadership potential and retail knowledge may also apply.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude and problem-solving ability.
- Good knowledge of inventory software (Tally, Excel, POS systems).
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle pressure during peak sales hours.
- Fluency in English and Telugu for effective communication.
Work Environment
- Roles available in supermarkets, retail stores, showrooms, and warehouses across Nellore District.
- Work may include shift-based schedules, weekends, and holidays, depending on business hours.
- Store Managers often coordinate with sales teams, suppliers, and head office management.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: ₹20,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience and store type).
