A horrific road accident occurred on the National Highway near nandavaram junction in Marripadu mandal on Sunday around early dawn. A cement tanker lorry collided with an auto rickshaw loaded with jackfruit. Ten people were injured, and another is in critical condition. The injured were rushed to the government hospital in Atmakuru by 108 ambulance. On receiving the information, the CI and sub-inspectors reached the scene and initiated an investigation.
