A rape case involving a girl from Guntur Rural: The accused Benny from Nellore, along with his mother and grandmother who helped him, were arrested by the Guntur South DSP Bhanodaya. Investigations revealed that Benny took the girl, who was studying 10th class in Guntur Rural, to Nellore and forced her by applying turmeric paste, resulting in rape. Police stated that under the Poxo Act, those who assisted will also receive similar punishment.
