Nellore Municipal Corporation is the civic administrative body governing Nellore city in Andhra Pradesh. It was originally established as the Nellore Municipality in 1884 and was elevated to a Municipal Corporation in 2004. The corporation covers an area of about 149.2 square kilometers, comprising 2 zones and 54 electoral wards, and serves a population of approximately 600,869 as per the 2011 census.
